How to crate spa inspired shampoos at home?

Aloe-and-Olive Shampoo
To make a gentle shampoo for every day use try the aloe and olive shampoo, Olive is a know hair healing herb and when combined with aloe-vera it makes the perfect combination.

An infusion is made by adding 1 cup boiling water to 1/2-ounce dried flowers: for blondes use chamomile, for red hair use hibiscus and use rosemary for brunettes. The mixture is then covered, cooled and strained. After that to 1/3 cup of the infusion 1/2 cup natural liquid soap is added along with 1 teaspoon olive oil and 2 tablespoons of aloe-vera juice is added. The infusion is then bottled and shaken thoroughly. You have a gentle daily shampoo that cleans with mild, fragrant lather.

Flower- Fruit Care

Herbal infusions when added to botanical shampoos, hair conditioners and hair-scalp-massaging oils help maintain the healthy sheen and bounce of beautiful hair.

Herbs used for blonde tints are usually chamomile and rhubarb. While for read hair alkanet, henna and red hibiscus is used and lavender, rosemary and sage, is used for brunettes.

Fruits that help to moisturize hair include apples, avocados and currants. For oily hair Cranberry, grape, lemon and pomegranate, are effective for oily hair.  

As a deep conditioner it is effective to use banana, fig and pear and the pulp and juice of fresh fruits are bursting with proteins, vitamins and emollients to restore moisture and nutrients to the hair. They add volume while stimulating new growth.

Molasses-and-Banana Conditioning Pack

To get rid of dry and lifeless hair, combine 1 banana along with 1/4-cup honey 1/4-cup molasses and 2 tablespoons wheat germ and mix ingredients together. The mixture is then to be massaged into clean, damp hair and left for 20 minutes. Wash and condition as usual. This rich, thick elixir is the perfect remedy for over-dry hair. Honey and molasses add body and shine, wheat germ is high in vitamins A and E, and banana conditions dry tresses.

Orange-Chamomile Hair Rinse

For an excellent after-shampoo rinse, use orange and chamomile at home to prpare an effective remedy. Just combine 1 cup fresh chamomile flowers (or 1/2-cup dried); 1 orange peel; 1 cup apple cider vinegar; 2 cups water. All ingredients are then to be simmered for 6 to 8 minutes and then strained and cooled. Pour over just-washed hair and leave in for 5 minutes. Rinse and dry as usual. While apple cider vinegar helps remove dead skin cells and control dandruff and excess oil, on the other hand chamomile and orange leave hair soft, shiny and squeaky clean.

Avocado Hair Conditioner

For shiny, soft and smooth hair fresh avocado and egg prove to be the most useful remedy. Blend 1 egg and 1/2 avocado and then massage into hair and scalp. Leave it on 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cool water, then gradually change to warm water and have the hair that you always desired.
